Unity3D is a software tool used for building interactive video games and simulations. In our game, we're using Unity3D to not only create a visually stunning environment, but also to receive and incorporate feedback from the player's BCI data to enhance the overall gameplay experience.

Our game uses Virtual Reality (VR) technology to fully immerse players in a new world of lucid dreaming, while also using it as an output device to provide visual feedback for BCI data. In this way, players can experience the thrill of exploring a dream world while gaining insights into their own brain activity.

1st Degree

Realisation

Typically, in a dream, the moment when a person realizes that they are dreaming indicates the first degree of awareness. In the LUCID DREAM game, you engage in an immersive conversation with the dream character the Moon in outer space. The Moon provides information about the dream experience and gives insights about lucid dreaming. The first degree of lucidity is often compared to the feeling of watching a movie.

2Nd Degree

Control

The second degree of lucidity often involves the struggle to maintain control over the dream environment after losing it. In the LUCID DREAM game, you are given a task and shown how to manage it using your own brain activity. The main goal of the game is to reach the Moon by flying to it using your own concentration state.

3d Degree

Interaction

As you progress to the third degree of lucidity, you'll find yourself exploring new opportunities within the dream world. In our game, you'll be able to fully immerse yourself in the dream environment and interact with all its objects and characters. This level of interactivity will allow you to discover your own unique techniques for maintaining a stable concentration state.

4th Degree

Achievement

At the end of your lucid dream experience, the Moon will congratulate you and provide valuable information about your highs and lows in concentration levels. This feedback will help you reflect on the feeling of reaching your goal and identify areas for improvement. With practice and perseverance, you can achieve even greater success in the dream world.
